Computing Length, Mass And Volume Of Liquid

COMPUTING LENGTH FROM A SITUATION EXPRESSED IN FRACTIONS

In multiplying units of length, we use the same steps as in the multiplication of a whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
example 1:                                                      Solution:
1  of 4 km = _________                                1  X 4 km = 2 km
2                                                                    2

COMPUTING MASS FROM A SITUATION EXPRESSED IN FRACTIONS

example 1:                                                      Solution:

3  of 15 kg = _________                                3  X 15 kg = 9 kg

5                                                                     5
